Brief
This project explores a brand identity for Pontcanna Farmers Market, focusing on creating a warm, approachable visual language that reflects the community-led nature of the market. The aim was to design an identity that feels rooted in place, celebrates local producers, and works comfortably across print and on-site materials.
Challenge
Farmers markets often rely on informal or inconsistent branding, making it harder to communicate their character, values, and sense of place. The challenge was to create an identity that feels authentic and community-focused while remaining clear, flexible, and recognisable across different touchpoints.
Solution
A considered brand identity combining illustration, typography, and a restrained colour palette to create a welcoming, place-led visual system. The identity is designed to scale across signage, posters, and promotional materials while maintaining a strong connection to the local community.
